P43 Bis

An illustration about the italian heavy tank P43 bis (1943) This tank was projected in italy during 1943 and probably would be the only italian tank that could compete against the allies modern tanks as the Jakson, the Pershing and the IS. Due to the landing in Italy of the US army this tank was never built, but someone belive that one prototype was made in secret.
The drawings doesn't really perfectly rapresent the P43 bis (i made this art about three years ago). It would had a chassis similar to a Panther's , a very low profile turret and a long 90mm gun
